Moving to Manchester in 2008 to study music, Daniel has quickly become a guitarist in great demand. His skills and musical attributes, which are rarely found in a musician of his background, have helped him define his own distinct calibre.
After being taught by Mike Walker at the RNCM, he graduated with a first class degree in music and now continues to work as a freelance musician. His musical creativity has seen him play an integral role in many projects, spanning a wide range of musical styles, which regularly perform throughout the UK and Europe. As well as working heavily within the pop music industry, Daniel is a founding member in a number of contemporary jazz projects, namely ‘Glowrogues’ and his trio ‘Apes Grapes’.
Whilst working closely with composer Mauricio Pauly, Daniel was profoundly influenced by his music and methods to work, which exponentially sped up his own learning. These new perspectives have provided him with the platform for becoming involved in contemporary music and, since then, he has gone on to study under Yaron Deutsch at the 2015 Impuls Academy for Contemporary Music in Graz, as well as becoming a member of Distractfold Ensemble.
